While I would never willing admit to having gone over to the dark side, if I did own one of the evil Gs it would be a 29SF (at least until S&W comes to their senses and makes the M&P in 10mm).
My G20c thats 1 month old and has 300 10mm rounds threw it and 100 rounds of .40 with a LWD conversion barrel.I also have many upgrade and addons for it and took it all off due to loosing reliability.
i also feel the stock 10mm barrel with factory comp has less muzzly flip than my non ported 6" .40 conversion.
dasfriek *** ive never seen a box of silvertips in person youve had a 10mm one month and have some?
for 3 years ever time i go to store i look but never had any
memphisjim- Yeh i bought em when i bought the gun,3 or 4 box's at 20 rounds for $18 each iirc,it was cheaper than the Hornady's.
They did shoot well tho, better punch than the Hornadays also.
I'm expecting to take delivery of a 17 later this week for EDC and as a general purpose handgun. I'm piecing together my carry rig...my CCW is due to arrive at the end of this month or early July.
Just a G34 right now.
most of the rest of the lineup is on the wishlist though. Priority will be for a carry piece, either G26, 27 or G29.
Not gonna bother with the GAP since it won't be around long.
I hope the GAP stays around. The only reason my 23 is a .40 is because I can't squeeze .45 in it. Now there is a .45 on the Glock compact frame. If Gap rounds get popular with other pistols and is in stock at Walmart, I can see myself getting a 38 in green.
I have a second gen Glock 23 I bought back in '96, and it's never given me problem one. In fact, it's never even hiccuped. Great pistol. I also had a second gen Glock 21, which was unfortunately stolen from my vehicle about a year after I bought it.
I don't feel passion for my Glocks like I do for other guns, but they are damn fine tools and I trust my life with them.
