What is the load down on the Glock 21 SF? What all models are offered. I know there is one with a picitanny rail. What else is there? Also, is the ambidextrious magazine release standard on all Glock 21 SF pistol? Does this mean that their magazines are specific to the SF? Is it just as reliable, accurate, etc. as the full size 21? Does anyone have a 21 and 21SF that they can take pictures of and give a side by side comparison? Pictures, advice, suggestions, experience welcomed and encouraged. Thanks.

The SF designation means Short Frame and, currently, the SF option is only available for the large framed Glock models (20, 21, 29 & 30).
The front to back length of the grip was shorten, which equates to a shorter trigger reach than the non-SF version of the same pistol model.

There are three variants of the Glock 21SF.
#1. Picatinny rail + ambi-magazine release
#2. Glock rail + ambi-magazine release
#3. Glock rail + standard magazine release

There is only one variant of the Glock 20SF, 29SF and 30SF.
#1. Glock rail + standard magazine release

The ambi-magazine release Glocks will only use the newest (8th) generation of magazines. Older (1st-7th) generations of magazines can be modified to work in the ambi-mag release Glocks, but the modification requires cutting into the magazines.
The standard magazine release Glocks can use all the (1st-8th) generations of magazines.

There are more holsters available for Glock rail variants of the 21SF than there are for the picatinny rail variant of the 21SF.
