Hi, gents! Question for you - since I'm one of those Glock shooters that insists on using lead reloads with a stock barrel, what's the best way to proceed? I know there's a lot of "urban legend" stuff about lead in Glocks, and I really don't want to buy another barrel, so do I just need to be faithful about properly cleaning lead out of the barrel, or what? My 9mm and .40 Glocks handle my reloads just fine, and I do use pretty hard cast bullets, but I can always get out my Brownell's lead remover kit if I have to. I just haven't seen any significant leading. While we're at it, can anybody suggest the "best" lead removing bore cleaning solvent? I know Hoppe's doesn't really do well. I have a whole shelf full of solvents, was wondering if anybody had a scientific opinion of which one works best. Thanks for your advice!
