I read an item in the 2009 Glock catalog about the Glock Homeland Security Program. I meet the listed requirements for this Glock discount and free pistol magazine but wanted to know exactly how much is the Glock Homeland Security Program discount? 10% 20% etc.

I'm sure 75-90% of US gun dealers, shops and FFL holders are not even aware of this Glock offer either,.

BTW: if you are looking for a brand new duty pistol size Glock you can qualify if you are:
A sworn LEO or retired LEO
On active or reserve duty in the US armed forces or are a retired/disabled veteran
hold a valid state issued security officer license

See www.Glock.com for more details.

Please PM me if you wish...

Department price on a plane glock with plastic sights, common model like 22 or 17, is $362.00. Individual officer price is $396.00. While wholesale seems to ride around $450.00, and average retail from what I have seen in my area has been from $499.00 to $550.00. Yes the LE model comes with 3 mags instead of 2, and that is the only difference and what the box says on it.

To add in security guards was a nice touch, but they should make a Homeland Security model for all lawful purchasers. At least CCW permit holders. But still better than nothing.

I know this is an old thread but thought I would add that you have to be a retired veteran because disabled only does not get you there.

Anybody know of a place in Colorado that does Glock's Homeland Security Program discount?
