Ok, everyone, I'm trying to decide on my next handgun. It will be a 9mm Glock, but I can't decide between a 17, 19, or 26.
So...well basically this is just an excuse to see some nice Glock pictures. And before anyone asks, yes, I do like the way they look. :neener:

Hey dasmi, you are a senior member and you haven't read forty 11 threads on Glocks?

You want to see pictures of Glocks? Seen one Glock, you've see them all. It's like asking to see pictures of Camrys.

Can't decide between 17,19, & 26? You obviously need them all.:neener: poppy

Are you going to CC it? If yes, G26, if no, G17 (or maybe G34, those are spiffy).

This all depends on what you plan to do with it.

Plan on using it for the range and for competition? Glock 17

Plan to use it for carry? Glock 26

Plan to use it for double duty? Glock 19

Before you set out to buy a Glock, give the Springfield XD a look. I was dead set on getting a Glock 26 too untill I got to handle and shoot one, it helps that it's cheaper too...

I think the 17 is to big for what it is too. the 19 is about the perfect Glock. 15+1. you can carry a 17 rnd mag for backup if you need to. It is really not much bigger than a 27 with a pinky extension. I am an alright sized guy, large hands and a 19 is still VERY comfortable. I have owned lots of glocks, from 22's to 20's to 27 to 29. I now only own a 29 but the 19 is still an all around best Glock. You can carry it EASILY it was my straighterst shooting Glock and 9mm is cheap. I just think the 17 for 2 extra rounds is HUGE compared to the 19. Big guns should be in 45 or 10mm. A 9mm doesn't have to be that big.

How are you recommending a 34 and then saying that the 17 is too big

Oh, I dunno
I realize they are basically the same size, but they sure feel different in the hand. I don't know why. The 34 feels cool, the 17 feels blocky.
I'm weird

The 19 is by far the best compromise

Get a Glock 19. It is my favorite Glock because it has low recoil, is accurate and has high capacity.

LOL, the brick is good, but it needs to be made out of plastic.:D

I love my G26.
