Going progressive soon, LnL AP or Dillon?

read the comparison articles and find out what featuresyou can live with, and live without. I didn't want a manual indexing unit, and that left the 650 and LnL. By my pricing and some other posters, the Dillon would cost almost twice the amount for an all inclusive "quick change" to another caliber.

Ease of change of caliber was not a factor, but mostly total cost over the life of loading multiple calibers on the same machine. Both have 100% warranties and each has it's quirks. Free bullets didn't hurt to take from Hornady either. ;)

So, yes. I'm cheap and that made my decision between the 650 and Lnl. Would love to get a 1050 someday, and a Dillon Square Deal B just to have on the side for whatever....

Hunter0924,

Excellent Article! I would say that it was as fair to all three. Having owned two of the three, Lee and Hornady, it was pretty much spot on. I did catch one inaccuracy, The article stated that the case collator on the Lee couldn't feed .223, that is not correct because you can get the collator for the rifle and it will feed. 223 without a problem.
