I fully plan on looking over Packing.org on each of these states. Anything anybody from any of these states want to tell me personally about experiences they've had or the way the laws as listed are interpreted? (in short, anything I should be aware of that packing.org doesn't specify?)
It will be a driving trip going from courthouse to courthouse and staying in motels. I have a Texas and now Florida CHL/CWL so I am allowed to carry in all of these above said states. (I will also be traveling to get to these states through Mississippi, Georgia, and Louisiana.....I might be going to south Florida too (don't know yet)

Thank y'all

Just the obvious caution...there are sometimes subtle, sometimes significant differences among these states. Just be careful about some of these differences. For example, it's illegal in NC to carry in any establishment that sells and serves alcoholic beverages. That includes the upscale grocery that has a salad bar and sells beer by the bottle.

I will also be traveling to get to these states through Mississippi, Georgia, and Louisiana.....

Well, since you added Georgia to the list . . .

You are good to carry in Georgia, but please study the off limits places. If you are just passing through, it will not matter much, but if you stop, keep in mind the biggies - no carry in places that serve alcohol (any restaurant other than fast food) and no carry in publicly owned or operated buildings (like the restroom at those convenient rest stops on the Interstate.

You can get a better idea by studying here:

www.georgiapacking.org

It has its own forums as well as lists of off limits places. Georgia has more places off limits than any state in the nation that allows any form of carry. Most of this will not affect you passing through, but it does not hurt to be aware.

t's illegal in NC to carry in any establishment that sells and serves alcoholic beverages.
And in Virginia, it's legal, but only for open carry, not CCW. Ain't this fun?

yeah, I just noticed that each of those points on packing.org. :cuss: :cuss: :cuss: :cuss:  That is absurd!!! In Miss Texiana (Texas, Louisiana and Mississippi for those of you who missed my secession senario a while back) you can basically carry concealed in such restaurants if you are not going there to go drinking. (the specifics are are different, but the intent is the same, it doesn't exclude people who just want to go grab a bite to eat)
