Finally decided to get a late XMas present, I ordered one of the Sig 225 (P6) that many sites have for sale. Both CDNN and MGS had them for $299 so I figured this is as good a time as any to own a Sig. Actually wanted a single stack 9mm and this seems like a very cost effective route. From what I've read from folks that bought these, they are in great shape and hardly used. Mine should arrive late next week and I'll have a range report ready shortly after...

The P225/P6 is an incredible firearm. It fits the hand perfectly and shoots extremely well. I love my P225. It is one of my favorite SIGs, it has a classy feel too it IMO.

Keep in mind a couple of things.

1-The double action pull will likely be VERY heavy, yet break extremely well. You may surprise yourself the first couple of times you shoot double action because of the heavy pull and then all of a sudden BANG. You can have trigger work done if you wish. The single action pull is just fine.

2-If you find your P6 doesn't reliably feed hollowpoint ammunition simply order a SIG P225 barrel and you should be all set. Not all P6s have trouble with JHP ammo but some do.

3-Buy your magazines now as they can be difficult to come by at times.

I am jealous, SIG's are nice guns.
I already spent my Christmas money on a Taurus Judge (but no complaints). Maybe next year if I'm a good boy.
Enjoy and I'll be looking forward to a range report.

Now I'll have 2 .45s, 2 .40s, 2 9s, and a .22 in handguns. Shot up about 800 rounds with the kids over the holidays and I now have to restock. Always wanted to add a Sig to the collection, figured now was as good a time as any...
