Low $500s is good. Mid $500s is about average. Extreme lows was $450. I've seen some retail locations ask as much as $650 for them. At that point it better say 'Elite' or 'carbon fiber' something on it.
Of course prices may have gone up (they seem to every year for guns), last time I shopped for a Beretta was a year and a half ago.
Skunkabilly: I would love to frind them in the $500 range. So far here in IL the last (2) prices I received was $650 and $675. I thought that was crazy!
There is a used one in a pawn shop in Loveland Colorado; Mister Money 970.667.7185 It is a blued 9mm asking for $395.00 You could probably talk them down to 350. There is nothing wrong with the gun, honest wear no abuse. I'd really reccomend it.
If anyone calls that Mister Money, ask for "Bernard" if he is there, or his cell phone number if he is not (pronounced Burr-nerd) and tell him that "Tim" told you to talk to him about purchasing the gun. Bernard is the regional manager and also my brother-in-law. Frankly, I don't think anyone at the store would have the first idea how to sell the gun to an out-of-stater, so easier to start at the top.
