Good job, old guy. We keep showing those kids that age and experience will stay ahead of youth and technology just about every time. I will turn 73 in a month, shoot a 45 year old 870TB and had four 50s, a dozen 25s and was high overall average at my home club (130 members) and second high (by .1 bird) in summer league out of about 350 shooters.
Not bragging, just encouraging other "seasoned" shooters to keep at it and if you find something that works, use it. A lot of new shooters think a new gun will make them instant champions.
I like to think that a few hundred thousand birds will help more.
Keep it up.

You and I probably could, I think eastbank lives way out east. I have a few "experienced" friends on TS.com that I'd like to meet and shoot with. Some have even offered refreshments after.

Good to see, I just got started shooting trap. I had a lot of fun and can see myself doing this a lot more.

I shoot all the clay games, but I shoot trap the best. I have friends who shoot sporting clay,s or skeet best. I smoke some young shooters at trap and they smoke me at sporting clays or skeet. my best at sporting clay,s was a 42 and a 23 at skeet. we have a good group and there is a lot of kidding after the smoke clears and I have heard all the excuses for missing and have used them my self. the best one was ( bill farted and the smell made my eyes water). eastbank.

2008, Peoria skeet and trap club championship, 100 each trap and skeet, and I hadn't shot skeet in years, I shot 24, 25. 25 ,23 skeet, exact same for trap for high overall. Used an 11-87 with I.c. choke for skeet, my old reliable TB for trap. Wish I'd kept that 11-87.
Clay games are way too much fun.
Believe it or not, I got my start shooting a muzzle loading shotgun at trap in the late '60s. Maybe taking several minutes to load the gun for each shot made me more conscientious.
