Good deal on a S&W 686?

I have a friend who wants to sell his S&W 686 w/6" Barrel. He bought it new and shot about 10 shots from it. He said he never uses it and wants to get rid of it. It looks brand new. He's selling it along with a hip holster, a shoulder holster, two speed loaders, and a bunch of 357 and 38 ammo all for $400. Is this a pretty good deal?

I am going to get it today after work. There is 12 boxes of ammo with it and 2 10packs of snake shot.

Excellent deal. That much ammo alone is worth quite a bit.
The other extras are nice too but you're really getting a very nice firearm that you'll enjoy for years.

By the time you figure in the cost of the ammo, holster, and speed loaders, he is selling the gun for less than $300. Thats a ridiculously good deal.

In Central Illinois, used 686's in "7/10" condition are marked over $500 with no accessories. And not much room to negotiate, either.

I would buy it without hesitation.
