My buddy got a S&W model 686 Plus revolver (6" barrel, 7rd.) that he bought new about 3 or 4 years ago for $475 and shot less than 100rd. He want to sell it to me for $400, is this a good price?
I just paid $375 for a 4" 6 six shot excellent condition from a guy that just didn't like it and wanted to get rid of it
It would take at least $450 to get it from me and I would have to think about that
Gunbroker lists them regularly close to and a little over $500
As other's have said, yes that is a good deal if the weapon is in good shape.
If I needed a 686 [which I already own one], I would hop on that deal very
quickly; as I've seen used 4" and 6" 686's priced between $479-489 locally.
