Good Dog Day (Yes, Im Bragging!)

My partner and I got a little Pointer bitch last spring. Sue is a granddaughter of last years (defrocked ) national champion, Miller's Online.

I ran her in her first trial today, and she took fourth in Amateur Puppy, and second in Amateur Derby. Needless to say, we have high hopes of good things to come. My partner will run her in Open Puppy tomorrow, and we are hopeful for another placement.

Can't wait for quail season to open.

Even though it is a long way to go, I would love to. Have you guys got spring trials after the hunting season is over? Are they AKC or FDSB? Is there a website that shows the scheduling?

Update . . .

Sue had a great day yesterday and finished up the weekend as follows:

1st place Open Puppy

2nd place Amateur Walking Derby

4th place Amateur Walking Puppy

Can't wait for the next trial!
