Good Fingerprints!

Well, yesterday I sent an e-mail to the OSBI, to inquire about my fingerprints. That was the seventh of December. I didn't expect a response back so soon. Today the 8th, I checked my e-mail this morning, & there was a reply back from the folks in OKC! They told me that my prints were GOOD! They also said that hopefully, they will get my application finished soon. Now, that's a comfort! So now I'll just wait until I hear from the Tulsa Sheriff's office.

It took mine exactly 80 days. Be patient.

When I got mine 8 years ago,I sent the paperwork in on Thursday the 23rd of September and recieved my letter on October 24.

OSBI kept kicking back my prints, they rejected them so many times they sent me a letter saying that I was close to denial because they hadn't gotten any readable prints. I did a lot of fingerprinting when I was a Deputy and knew that my fingerprints are very fine, they are hard to get a clean print card, facing possible denial I called them and asked if I could come there to be fingerprinted, so they could keep doing it till they were satisfied, they told me to come on down, they had their most experienced person do my prints, they had to do them 3 or 4 more times while I was there, they finally got a set they could read...and I subsequently got my permit.
