I put a Kel-tec P32 on layaway back in May and picked it up July 25.

I took it out this weekend and the slide locked open a couple times each mag usually 3rd shot and 5th shot.

When the gun locked open on an empty mag I had to drop the magazine and manually depress the hold open bar to close the action.

Today I took it back to the shop and asked for store credit. The manager had me demonstrate and asked me what kind of ammo I was using.

I told her S&B and Aguila... she says "well thats your problem, Cheap ammo."

I told her I didn't agree and showed he the slide lock open problem.

Another guy that works there dug up some winchester 32acp and told me to in back with him.

He loaded up the P32 and fired into a cast iron tank with a 5'' diameter tube going into it.

Sure enough the P32 locked open 2 times during the test and they gave me full credit toward an Inland M1 carbine that I already had put some money towards.

I thanked them for doing the right thing by me and told them that I will keep coming back to buy guns from them.

I'm not sure how many shops stand behind their used guns like this.

With all the bad gunshop threads lately I thought a little good news was needed.

Good bunch of knowledgeable folks:

Good for both of you. I think you'll get more enjoyment out of that carbine than the mousegun. Besides, you could always get another P-1 and cut it down into a custom shorty carry unit insead.

Congrats on the M1, for real.

Sounds like a reputable place. Worth doing businesss with them again...and again.

Even though it was used, Kel-Tec would have made it right for free, even if the gunshop couldn't help you.

Thats true but it would have been $30 to ship it and probably would have cost return shipping as well.

I'll try another Keltec in the future.
