ive posted on here once before, but i forgot my login so i had to make a new one. IRL friend of Oleg's in case that buys me any brownie points :D
(It's Alex by the way leg)

Anyhow, I've been looking into USP's for a little while now and just got to actually SEE one at a gun show last weekend. Thus far ive been pretty impressed by HK's firearms. So........I've decided perhaps to pick myself up a nice USP.

I'm looking for a standard NON-COMPACT .45 acp model (oh, and no two tone, yeck). Though I'd like to have an expert class....no way in hell am i gonna fork over that kind of money for a gun i've never shot. But my dilema is that I can't really find an even ground for pricing on it. Ive looked at a few places on the net (one being gun broker) and the price seems to fluxuate anywhere from $550-$900 for the same pistol, in new/like new condition. Preferably I'd like to have NIB but for the right price who knows.

Perhaps someone who has one or knows something about USP's can give me some input on what a decent price would be, or how the gun functions.....OR... a big help would be some place around Nashville where i could pick one up for a decent price.

Thanks a mint.

A NIB USP .45ACP will cost you about seven or eight hundred. Impactguns.com, for example, has a new one for $725. A 9mm is somewhat less, $669. That doesn't include FFL fees, shipping and so on. I've seen used(Good to Excellent condition, depends really) USPs for as low as $550... but not often. I'd definately try before you buy. I personally like the USP quite a bit, from what little experiance I had with it, but it IS pricey.

Most dealers will order for 10% over what you see here.

BTW: You are in the right forum for this.

If you are patient, you should find one in the 5-525 shipped range. Unfortunatly there isn't a real good place to get guns in Nashville after Jumbo/Nashville Sports/Unlimited closed.
You may check out Speicalty Arms down in LaVergne.
Best bet is probablly the classifieds of forums, and check out traders post from time to time.

Tom and Joe's has them for $679, and he'll ship for $20.

Great shop, great prices.

hmm, bit more expensive than i assumed, oh well, not that much more. Unfortunately try before buy is not much an option with me at the given time. But, who knows, it'll be a little bit before i actually send off any cash in the first place. Maybe i'll but into someone who owns one in that time frame.
