I don't believe in quick-release rings being used to move a single scope to different firearms back and forth.
Removing a scope mounted using quick release rings from a rifle and then putting it back on that same rifle is a 50/50 toss up to remount the scope to hold the previous zero.
Also, using a scope with QR rings to use on different rifles can put stress on the tube due to the varying tolerances/dimensions on each base. Not all scope bases will be true, either due to the manufacture of the base or because of the base screw holes on the rifle not being true. Installing a scope on one rifle then moving it to another rifle doesn't guarantee the fit will be appropriate (particularly without ring lapping). It most likely won't be enough to notice visually, but the differences will exist.
Anyway, I wouldn't recommend it. I'm pretty sure quite a few people do this to save money. But I think you would be better served spending a few hundred dollars on another scope rather than trying to share one scope between two rifles.
I have two sets of quick release rings (not counting the quick release ring for my Aimpoint Comp ML2). One is a set of Leupold QRW rings for the scope on my 10/22. The only reason I have those rings is because I bought them at Turners back in the day before I knew any better. They are great rings, but I never remove the scope using the quick release mechanism. I just use them for plain old rings. My other set are a pair of ARMS rings for a Leupold MK4 scope on my 18" SPR AR upper receiver. The only reason I have that pair of rings is to allow detachment of the scope in an emergency situation (optics break or malfunction requiring transition to BUIS or Aimpoint).
You should be able to get Leupold QR or QRW mounting systems for those two firearms if you really are hard pressed to do so. The Leupold quick release systems are of good design and are respectably priced.
