Until such time as I start reloading, can anyone suggest a good source of brass-cased, "old timey" bullet loaded cartridges for a SAA clone in 45 Colt? Preferably one that I won't have to sell a kidney to afford? :)

THE cheapest and best you'll find, for the money, is Georgia Arms. You can order from them online, and they show up at shows across the Southeast. They'll be at the Raleigh NC show in late January.

I agree re Georgia Arms - their G45LD, 240gr LRNFP .45 Colt, runs $33.50/100 in new Starline nickel plated brass. I have never had anything but the best results ith their ammo - and the folks their as well. Be forewarned... those emptie cases will mount up... and you'll soon rationalize a reloader. After some years, and many promises that I'd never reload, I rationalized the purchase of a Dillon 550, simply due to the 2,700+ .45C cases I had amassed. Now, of course, I shoot to reload!

Kaylee, unless you're going to start reloading soon better sell that kidney if you're intending to shoot much factory ammo in .45 Colt especially if you want the old timey bullet style and boxes:uhoh:
