It is people like you that make our country what is Great. Thank you for your service and stay safe. You will be in my prayers. Best wishes

Stay safe.

Plenty of our members in uniform these days still get to drop in from time to time so don't be a total stranger.

Stay safe, and when you return, by God please tell us how effective and reliable your M4 or M16 was... Assuming they issue you one. :)

May the Lord keep His protective angles around you, and all the others who serve.

Thank you for your service to our country. I can't tell you how proud we all are of you and all the others who wear, or have ever worn a uniform.

Stay low, and look unimportant, wherever you go.

Happiness, Dont forget if they make him a 11M it will added 3 weeks!

Bradley school....

Have Fun Doubleg!!

11M Mounted Inf (Bradley)
11B Leg Inf (Hummers)

May God keep you safe, may your m4 stay clean and fire. And remember we are proud of you and thank you and make sure to drop in before you deploy.

Good luck kiddo. The nastiest things will be those outdoor range latrines.
Good lordy lordy. And watch out for thick-necked Drill Sergeants with cranky attitudes who scream their heads off at you at in-processing. Always eyes straight ahead or it is your ass.
Feels weird talking to someone who is about to follow where you've been.

Good luck, stay safe, work your ass off. Don't believe that "Don't get Noticed" thing in Boot camp. Get noticed in a good way, you wind up a squad leader, team leader, or guide of the platoon, and maybe score yourself a promotion when you graduate. Always try to take the job of the guy senior to you. And I really, REALLY hope you like cleaning. :D Good luck Army Dog.

Good luck, godspeed, and good hunting. Wear your armor. Once you get in country, always keep a firearm and a loaded magazine with you, even on base.

One tip :)... you will be tasked with waxing and buffing a floor. Do not follow the directions on the jug that have you dilute the wax, pour it on straight! One of our DI's made us redo a floor 4 times because it was not shiny enough trying to get us to figure this trick out.

oh.. and go watch Full Metal Jacket if you have not already. If your DI has a sense of humor you may do the "this is my rifle, this is my gun" bit as well as "this is my rifle, there are many like it, etc" in bed. If you understand what is going on and are not all wierded out about it it is more entertaining.

best of luck and THANK YOU for your decision to serve your country.

keep a level head, play the game at basic..as its all a game there but pay attention...when you deploy its no longer a game. keep your head level and down.

peace brother and pop in and share some stories!

First off, this is a very hard time to make that commitment, knowing what our military faces. Thank you.

Second, hard work pays off. The uppers notice the guys who care. Strive to be an expert in your field and you'll shine. There are great programs out there, such as Green to Gold. This is one of only a few ways the military will help educate you and better your future. Serve proudly, and take advantage of the wonderful programs offered.

Last, I'm active and I'm on here all the time... you'll be back. :)
