I'm sorry for your loss, OP.Announcing his passing, it was with a week left in August, right after we celebrated his and mom's latest birthdays.
I was just saying at work, how someday, I will inherit a very fine S&W 686 (no dash) but I'm in no hurry. Funny thing how fate works, I can't remember if it was my last day at work before he passed, or the day before. I still feel cheated out of time with Dad.
But I'm not here for sympathy, I'm here to talk about heroes and Guns. He left me a few nice pieces, more ammo than I knew he had (thanks for listening DAD!!) and lots of memories. Plus a nice little stash of Silver, Constitutional Silver, plus some rounds and bars
He's in a better place. I'll be praying for you.
