Got an Email notification from SIG the P320 voluntary recall return shipping labels are being sent out, apparently in the order the warranty registrations were received:

Thank you for successfully registering your P320 for SIG SAUER’s no-cost Voluntary Upgrade Program. It is our goal to keep you informed throughout this process.

We will begin sending information and labels required for returning your P320 throughout October and November. Shipping labels will go out in stages based on when each P320 was registered so you may not see yours immediately.

We would also like to take this opportunity to verify your return shipment information.

Keep in mind that we must have a physical residential address to return your firearm to you (no business or PO Box addresses will be accepted), and an adult over 21 years of age will need to be home to sign for the returned pistol.

Got the return shipping label via Email yesterday afternoon, heading out to FedEx to ship it back now. They say 4-6 weeks turn-around time.

I got the "promise ring" email a few weeks ago that I should expect to receive an email with a shipping label at some point so that I can send my gun off for some amount of time.

I haven't gotten my label yet. My guess is that the 320 will make it back into my carry rotation early 2018.

I received labels last night via an email and link for my two P320s. I shipped them out today but won't be counting the days since I have a lot of other more important things to think about.

I received an email this morning that both P320's have been "upgraded" and are shipping back to me today.

Whoa that's a pretty dang fast turn around time. I shipped mine yesterday, should be there by Monday. I thought for sure this would be at least a 4 week lag when they announced it.

Good on SIG

Yeah ... I wasn't expecting such a fast turnaround either but both pistols are scheduled to be delivered via FedEx this coming Monday (30th). Here's an overview of the process.

10/3 - Registered two P320s for the "voluntary upgrade"
10/19 - RMA labels for both pistols received via email
10/19 - Pistols shipped to SIG via FedEx
10/24 - Pistols arrived at SIG
10/25 ~ 10/26 - "Voluntary upgrade" completed
10/26 - Pistols picked up by FedEx
10/30 - Pistols returned

Not a fluke, mine was dropped off at FedEx Wednesday Oct 18 at 3:19PM, arrived at SIG 9:27AM Friday Oct 20. Came home to me yesterday Oct 26 early afternoon!

I wasn't expecting it so fast and was out of town, but my wife fortunately was there to sign for it. I got an Email from Sig late Tuesday Oct 24 saying it was complete and on its way to FedEx for return, but I never got a tracking number or call or Email from FedEx about when to expect delivery which is unusal in my experience when something is shipped "signature required".

SIG is nailing these upgrades -- way better than the 4-6 weeks suggested in the Email with the return shipping label. Haven't shot it yet, trigger feels as good as ever in dry fire and I like not having the "double click".

Kudos to SIG, after some initial drama they are doing a magnificent job of making things right!
