So here's the deal. I went out and got a Ruger LCP from a friend that didn't like it. He has shot it 2 times, both with me, after he bought it a few months back for $400. He sold it to me for $220 and Lunch at McDonalds. Now that I have it, I'm at a loss for what to do in terms of a holster.

I have looked into the MiniTuck, as I think that it's a good holster for what I want. What do you guys use? Ive seen alot of pictures of what my options are, but many look uncomfortable, or seem like they would manage to make this tiny thing print. I bought this for when I wear a t-shirt, and I'm about 195lbs and 6'1" tall. If anyone is in the same boat and found something that they like, a couple of pictures of you wearing it would be greatly appreciated.

Take a look at Uncle Georges

I have one similar to this now, but don't really like the feeling of pocket carry. I know its not going to, but I keep feeling like it's going to fall out of the holster, and I'm going to bump the trigger when I reach for it.

One thing to consider, what is the number one thing criminals are looking for? Money right? They don't always announce they are going to rob you. sometimes they hide in an alley, or pretend to need directions or pretend to be a beggar asking for a few dollars, etc. Point is, you have to assume there is a chance they will get the drop on you. When they do, I would rather be able to reach for my wallet in pants pocket and pull out a gun than to have to grab my shirt, pull it up and reach for a gun tucked inside my belt behind my hip. if they are ponting a gun or holding a knife to you, IWB is not even an option. But the wallet is.

"Okay man, you can have my wallet, please don't shoot." while you pull the LCP and fire.

If your friend paid $400 for an LCP, no wonder he doesn't like it very much! I paid $299 for a brand-new one a few months ago. My buddy paid $279 when they first came out. You got a great deal on a lightly used one for $220. Anyway...

Mine rides in my right front pocket in a Galco Pocket Protector. It's great. It's made of leather, completely covers the trigger, has a hook shape on the back edge to catch on the pocket during a draw, has a reinforced seem around the mouth that is rigid and moldable that helps in drawing and holstering and which also provides a break-up of the shape and lines. It cost me about $25.

The only time it looks even remotely like a gun in my pocket is if I'm wearing tight-fitting, thin material dress pants. In jeans or cargo shorts, you'd never be able to tell. For reference, I'm 6', 175, and wear non-baggy clothing. You'll love this gun.

I have the DeSantin Nemesis pocket holster and it works perfectly for me. I keep the LCP in the holster in my front right pocket. Very unobrusive and I forget it's there. Smooth draw where the holster stays in my pocket and the gun comes right out.

13 co-workers now carry the LCP. Every one of them tried my Nemesis and liked it. Most have it now.

I just got my Recluse Kydex front pocket holster today. I love this thing. It has a block that the trigger rides in so that you cannot pull the trigger until you draw it. I will post a pic as soon as I get the address.

I have a TCP roughly the same dimensions that I carry in a N82Tactical.com holster. The "small auto" size fits all the guns in the LCP size class. This thing is amazingly comfortable. It can be worn IWB or just inside the belt. I disagree with the earlier statement that IWB is not an option. I carry my wallet in my back pocket and my pistol rides in my waist band right above my wallet. From the veiwpoint of a person infont of me the action of retrieving either looks identical and takes the same amount of time. Also I do pocket carry sometimes but not all pockets are created equal, some too deep some no big enough. I much prefer making my carry option fit my lifestyle and clothing than the other way around.

I'm agreeing with blue ridge. That Uncle George looks good. Thinner than the other wallet holsters out there. 1/8" may not seem like much...until you carry it. My Uncle Mike's IWB is great. The only one I've liked considering my slender build. Gotta have options to fit the situation. Uncle Mike's IWB and front pocket, Uncle George for rear pocket.

I carry my LCP in a Meco back pocket holster. It's well-made, draws quick, and doesn't print at all - just looks like a wallet in my back pocket. Highly recommended.

A pic off their website. It comes in black and mahogany as well:

FWIW:

Uncle George's wallet (rear pocket) holster works just fine for me. My LCP has the CT Laser and the UG holster is molded for it.

I like my new LCP w/CT so much it has replaced my beloved LWS380 for daily cc.. It's just so much easier to shoot accurately, and without the finger pain experienced with the tiny LWS380.

But there are times when I feel the LCP is just a bit too large for whatever I'm doing, or whatever I'm wearing, and that's when the smaller Seecamp gets the nod.

I love 'em both. :D

Best Wishes,

Jesse
