After waiting for the chance to get a CCL for way too long, three vetoes by two different governors and a veto override to make it happen I’m finally getting it!

One more hoop to jump through and I’ll have my Kansas CCL. I got my acceptance letter from the State Attorney General yesterday, tomorrow I have to go to the DMV and get my photo taken and give them $12 so they can send it off to the AG’s office where they will make the actual license. (The letter and receipt from the DMV will serve as a temp. license until the plastic one arrives.

This is after spending $125 on the class and $150 for the license itself.
Anyway, I finally get to join the ranks of the self protected!

The RIGHT to Keep and Bear Arms

A Parable.
The Devil was strolling with a companion one day.

In the distance, they watched as a man walking along the road saw something shiny, picked it up, and went on his way.

The Devil smiled broadly and chuckled.

His companion asked, "why do you smile; what is it that man has found?"

The Devil responded, "why, that man has found Truth!"

Confused, his companion asked, "if he has found Truth, why would that make you glad?"

To which the Devil replied, "I'm going to help him organize it!"

The RIGHT to Keep and Bear Arms is one of our basic Truths.

The Socialist helps us organize it.

We have permits and licenses and fees and taxes and formalities and restrictions and permissions and piles of laws.

All to help us "organize" one of our nation's most basic Truths.

Congratulations on overcoming the organizing and attaining access to a basic Truth.

Congratulations! Is the media in Kansas as hysterical as the media in Texas was when our carry law went into effect in '95/'96?

Not hard to get, just takes $$$. I paid $125 for the class but I've seen them advertised elsewhere for as low as $75.
