Your last photo shows off the wood on your stock much better. Lots of figure for a relatively inexpensive double. Very handsome gun.
BUT did you get any rabbits? I know this is off topic but have you ever considered getting a Beagle to take your walks with? There is nothing like hunting rabbits with a good SxS and a Beagle.Had a chance to get out with the Bobwhite over the weekend. What a fantastic gun to carry around!

Neighbor has a beagle, she makes my chickens seem quiet. I agree with this statement.I think I'd be shooting the dog before I ever got it out in the woods.

Very nice looking gun.1977 browning BSS sporter in 20 ga 2 -3/4 or 3 ",
my to go double barrel has been a 1977 browning BSS sporter in 20 ga 2 -3/4 or 3 ", straight stock with SST-SE. It has been used by three generation,s of small game hunters and is as tight as the day it was made with only finish wear on the out side. those light weight double barrels are a joy hunt with when putting on the miles in the field.
