yep my brother in law said "hey i got two of these want one?" heck yea

its a 1915 westinghouse in pretty good shape

not alot of finish but hey its from 1915

nice:D, i didnt even know westinghouse made them. Ive got you beat though. my mosin is from 1909:neener: and everything is nice except the bore:( I dont think theres that many people out there who have regular model 1891s and one by an american company nonetheless. that part is pretty cool.

Free is always good! Not many of those falling into place around here for me...but, I don't mind waiting! Thats cool for you. Let us know how it shoots.

Mark.

its in good shape some dings and such i just checks the bore and it wa pretty bad rusty some pitting but this rifle probably hasnt been used in 10-15 years and has been sitting in his closet i saoked the bore in hoppes and ran my snake thru it probably 10 times then oiled it(god i hate corrosive ammo) it lookes like the entire front end is an arsenal repair but either he stained it or it matches pretty good

i can throw some pics from my phone up nut they will be bad better pnes in the mornin

So, where's the pics?! :scrutiny:
Ya come on tellin' 'bout the rarest M-N variant ever made, and ya got no pics?! :what: :D

General Geoff,
Now that brings up the question, what's the new M-N chambered in paintballdude902?

Edited to add:

Don't know if you already know about this place, but, it'll tell you everything you ever wanted to know about M-N's.

You have one of the rarest M-N variants. I hope it works great for you. I'd also not recommend altering it since it is rare and may well escalate in price as years go by. There are a lot of serious Mosin collectors out there and only so many Westinghouse M-N rifles to be had.
Before you change anything you might want to look into that. Oftentimes even cleaning an antique can kill it's collector value.

If you plan on using it, please give us a range report. I'd be really interested in hearing how it performs.
Congratulations on your new Mosin!
And by jiminy the price was right too! :D
How cool is that?! :what:

yea i like it i thin the only thing im gonna do to it is scrub the bore the best i can to get it clean im gonna shoot it idk when ma take it hunting one day next week
