Got my new sig p6 in

Picked this up off of gunbroker. It came in today. Wow what a sweet pistol. Shoots great and likes gold dots. Very little internal wear.

Came with two mags, that leather tank of a holster, sig post and dot sights installed, a triji front that I need to put it, and the original front and rear sight.

Looks about standard for the P6s that were imported.

Additional magazines are hard to find and pricey, but are out there. Expect about $40 each. Promag magazines are more common but can be hit-or-miss as far as reliability, and run about $20 each.

I too own a P6, and love it! I found a seller on AuctionArms who sells the Sig factory P6 mags for a fairly decent price. Just do a search for "Sig P6". The slide on my P6 had a bit of holster wear. I used Brownel's Oxpho Blue, it looks nearly new now. From what I read on another forum, the "NW" stamped on your slide is Nordrhein-Westfalen department.

I bought my first P6 when they hit the shores and it is in like new condition. The second one is in a more "standard" condition. Both P6's shoot exceptionally well. I installed some HiViz sights on the second one and Pachmyer grips. This combination makes it a great carry pistol for me.

Yours looks to be in a little better condition than mine, but I'll still put a photo of mine up. I got some nice grips on ebay.

I paid $345 with shipping and transfer for mine. I have been watching gunbroker for a while to find a good deal. This one came up with a low BIN so I snatched it.

Wow, then that's a deal. I've been watching GB for a while and haven't seen them below about $389, excluding the other fees. That's just the starting price on no reserve items, not the BIN price.

I picked up a P6 about 8 or 9 months ago. Great gun!! Mine shoots WWB ammo like there's no tomorrow. I'm not a big Sig fan, but I really like the P6.

I've been very pleased with my P6. I was pleasantly surprised with the accuracy out of the short barrel (I'm used to full-sized handguns, 4.5" barrel or longer) and the controllability despite the lightweight frame. I'm trying to talk myself out of having it refinished.
