So, I had many failures of the slide on my new PM9 going completely into battery and sent it in to Kahr. According to the ticket they replaced the recoil spring and guide, the mag catch, and polished the feed ramp, barrel hood, slide stop, extractor, and extractor area. They received it on the 1st and shipped it out on the 9th.

I took it to the local range (K2) to see if the problem was gone. I ran about 100 aluminum cased Blazer FMJ through it with no problems. I then loaded up some Federal American Eagle and let another shooter have a try. I noticed a failure to go into battery but also noticed the shooter's weak hand thumb was along the slide. I then shot about 50 more rounds of Federal and had 1 jam against the feed ramp, and a couple of failures of the slide going completely into battery. I was a little frustrated and switched back to the aluminum Blazers. Again another 100 rounds without a hitch.

So, it looks like the gun works but is finicky with ammo. I'll go back and try some JHP's. If they work as well as the Blazers I'll be happy.
