I'm going to vote for Badnarik.
No, you're not. You're going to vote for Kerry. Net result is the same. Just be sure you like who you get.

(Wondering how we got here from "Gov't surveillance of mail order ammo?")

Well I sure am not voting for Bush. Anyone who surrounds himself with such a motley collection of halfwits, criminals, and traitors cannot be allowed to remain in power. After all that has happened, I couldn't vote for the man in good conscience. So I guess my options are Badnarik, Kerry, Nader, or not voting.

Not only do I believe Kerry will win, if given a choice between Kerry and Bush, I'd have to go with Kerry. While I despise his stand on guns, at least he was man enough to serve his country in Vietnam. But since there is a party that accurately reflects my personal beliefs, I think the proper thing for me to do is vote Libertarian.

I'm with you, LB.

I'm sure some day they will make it illegal to vote for any party other than either branch of the incumbent party, let alone campaign for a third (actually, second) party or against either branch of the incumbent party.

The other parties will still be on the ballot to keep up appearrences, but with the FBI agent in the booth with you, you will vote for one of the two branches of the incumbent party.

Then we will be lamenting the days when we could campaign against candidates in the months prior to the election and we actually could have voted for a third (second) party candidate!
