Anybody have a set of the gp100 compact Lett style grip? I have the normal Lett style on my gp100 and a set of the factory ones on my sp101 (see avatar pic). My question is how does the size compare ? Are the compacts the same size as the sp101? Or are they an in between size? I read they take the sp101 grip panels. Thanks!

Here's how my hand fits on the two I have,I was thinking about ordering a set of compacts. I think my pinky would hang off the bottom like it does on the sp101.its pretty close with the standard size.

The compacts are an in-between size. I've not had any for several years so I can't help with a photo or measurements unfortunately. Good luck.

Pretty big difference. Do you like them? They seem like a perfect fit for that 4". Very nice!
That is a 5" Special Edition, but I changed the grips. I moved the compacts to my 3" 41 Special GP for awhile but then found a good solution with a wooden set. The large Altamonts are now on my Match Champion. The compacts are a good option if trying to conceal a GP100. While the SP101 grips have inserts, they are very different and generally quite inadequate for powerful ammo.

How do they compare width wise? Although my sp101s are shorter I feel like it's almost a stronger grip for me because I can really wrap my fingers around them . I have short fat fingers ,and wide-ish but short palms so I can squeeze a narrow grip better. I have a hogue no finger groove grip too. Its narrow, but has a hump But I switched back to Lett style because when drawing the barrel tends to dive with the hogue and comes up nice and level the the Lett style.

Well ordered a set on eBay. Merry Christmas to me!will see how they work out. Grips and holsters.....spend more on them than the gun itself!

Compact grips and black locust wood panels on my 3" GP100. The gun was purchased with a very nice set of Altamont grips but these fit my hand and the size of the gun better, though I no longer have any delusions about carrying it.

They feel really good on the shorter 3" and 4" half lug GPs. I like the full sized for the longer/heavier barrels.

I found that my Match Champion looks better with the full size but can only be considered as a carry gun with the compacts.

The Match Champ has some wonderfully comfortable grips. I could never sign on the the strange contoured cylinder (what's the point?) and the odd slab sided barrel, but from what I hear they are fantastic competition revolvers.
