Not to repeat the LMGTFY post, but...

If you're sitting in front of a computer, Google is a great calculator. "[insert number] of [whatever unit] converted to [whatever other unit]" will usually get you a fast and accurate answer.
 
If you're at your bench and have an iPhone "Convert Any Unit Free" is a handy app that converts to/from almost any unit of measure. I've yet to stump it and the price is right!
 
If you are weighing powder or bullet weight there are 7000 grains to a pound. If you are measureing anything else go to a different fourm.
 
And the first time I read there were 7000 grains in a pound as related to hand loading was in 1962.
