Many thanks to Bob and Jim for all the help on my grandfathers (and soon to be mine!) old relvolver.
It looks like we narrowed it down to a Smith & Wesson Hand ejector 2nd model. The serial number is somewhere around 1930 and it's a 61/2 fixed sight in high 90s condition.The grips are non medallion and also in excellent contition.
My father has the firearm and I want to give him what is a fair price for the firearm. So far the feedback is it's worth on or about $1000. Can this be true? I wanted to get out for less.
