If any of you guys have been considering a red-dot for your favorite carbine, but hadn't made up your mind what to get, let me help.
Through this friday (04/18/03), www.coalcreekarmory.com has the OKO on sale for $160 for their "God Bless the USA" Sale! It's not on the website, but it is mentioned here
It will mount "as is" to any weaver rail, or you can opt for the additional SC3 (standard) or SC4 (qd) armour/mount for $48.75 and $63.75 respectively.
I have an OKO, and the red-dot on the lowest setting is about as bright as #3 on my ProPoint PDP3. The dot is perfectly round and clear. There's a slight blue tint to the lens, but it doesn't effect my ability to pick up the dot fast or see it clearly, even in bright light.
Granted, it's not as tough as the Aimpoint M2 XD, but it's plenty tough, and runs about half-price.
