Greetings all, I have been shooting a SIG 522 for over two years now...it IS my favorite rifle for enjoyable and inexpensive shooting....accurate and plain fun! I have been swapping out optics between a Redfield Revolution 2X7 rangefinder scope with QD rings and an older TruGlo red dot. The redfield makes target work a breeze but the red dot is more fun and easier to use for plinking away at reactive and steel targets. The only problem is that the TruGlo is in no way bright enough to easily use in bright sun...overcast days better but still somewhat difficult to pick up. Now the question...what would be a good "inexpensive"....not..."cheap" (as in a piece of crap) red dot with optics bright enough for daylight work. I have used EOtech and AimPoints which I do love...but $400.00 to $600.00+ is...at this time a little out of my price range if I can at all help it. Has anyone out there bought and used any other sights from other sources such as Primary Arms or Vortex with good results and satisfaction. A bright red dot is important in any model. One with the outer ring as in EOtech would be a plus. Any input will be greatly appreciated. BisleyBlackhawk
