Go to www.Packing.org for a state by state roundup of info on handgun carry laws, nuances, tables of reciprcocity, restrictions and - most importantly - how to best apply for a license in your state or a non-resident license in another state.

For example, go the Packing.org home page for Massachusetts. The first thing to read is the "Packing.org NEWS Page" for the state. This has a host of threads with all sorts of useful info, e.g., how to best apply for a Non-Resident LTC and why you need a Class A LTC for All Lawful Purposes in order to be able to carry. Check out your state and neighboring states.

I've been a fan of packing.org for years now,you will find most of us here are as well.
What I like about THR is that (for the most part) we are friendlier to our fellow gunnies and the folks who post here on a regular basis are a bit better informed then the folks who post on packing.org.
For instance,once on packing some guy was giving advice to a would be armed courier that would get him killed and you get wanna be's who think everything they know is correct but they have never really shot a gun only read about it.

http://www.packing.org is hosted on a slow, unreliable server, so it's sometimes inaccessible. The user interface is clunky. Some of the posters there are deficient in manners, and of course, there are some wannabes, too.

On the whole, it's a pretty good site.
