Green Lee products

In the lee catalog it shows what I believe is a challenger press using a push through sizing die. The press is green.

I haven't ever seen a green lee press. Anyone else notice this or have a reference.

I have a powder funnel that's lee, and it's green. I have seen green lee die boxes for RGB dies I think, and their shell holder box is green.

Yes, Lee makes stuff packaged in green plastic. But it isn't RCBS green.

Lee Precision probably painted their press in lime green to highlight the bullet sizing kit that is red in color.

Their presses normally come colored red.

I know lee presses are red. I have a challenger myself. That's why I noticed it.

I have used several Lee presses over the years.
The linkage on that press in the photo screams "Lee" to me. But I've never seen a Lee press in any color but red, either.

It doesn't hurt that I keep the lee catalog next to the tp in the reading room.

Sure looks like a lee press they painted green. At a glance it looks like a RCBS or redding. Your idea makes sense.


It was probably a company joke. Someone comes up with a new press idea and when they bring it out its green. Then the marketing guy said hey I got an idea.
