New guy here, been reviewing lots of stuff for the past month or so.

For years I've had a 4" Anaconda in .44 magnum. The grips are too narrow to fit the palm or swell of my hand so that the gun twists in the had some.

I haven't seen anything on the net or in a store that seems to be a real good replacement for the standard grips.

Any suggestions?

They seem to be a tough grip to replace and still look good due in part to the straight up style of that grip frame.
Hogue makes nice wood fingergroove monogrips, but the backstrap has no style to it because of that straight grip frame. They feel good in the hand, but my personal opinion tells me they look funny. (They will not twist on you)
98% of all Anacondas came with the rubber grips you're talking about.
You may also try to search for King Cobra grips as they are the same grip frame, just some people don't know that and will advertise them as fitting just the King Cobra.
Good luck. There doesn't seem to be a ton of choices out there.

I just ordered a set of Hogue composite rosewood for my Anaconda. Will post PICS after they arrive.

I had the same problem when I bought my Andaconda. I bought a set of Bear Hug Grips. I did choke when I paid the bill but they are perfect for me and my son.

I don't know who took over after the passing of Mr. Deacon. Maybe do a search, they really feel good in my hand. I'm sure they are continuing to deliver quality today.:)
