I have a new S&W 617 6" waiting for me to get the license for it so I can go pick it up, the intention is to set it up so it's as close as possible to my 6" 686.
On my (square butt) 686 I have a Miculek grip that works perfect for me, and I was thinking about getting the same grip (though for a round but) for the 617, but I have also been looking at Ahrends Round-to-Square (no finger grooves).
Has anyone here tried both so he/she can compare them?
Is there a difference between the Miculek SB and RB grips?
