I just took my new Taurus 650 out to the range. Fired 50 rounds of .38s and all was well. Surprising accurate. When I tried .357 rounds they were a little painful. Can anyone with this experience recommend a better grip that does not impede concealability?

you might want to try lighter bullet's in your gun 158gr kick a lot more than a 125gr bullet.A friend of mine had a smith and wesson scandanavian snub nose and i could only fire 3 rounds out of it and my hand would hurt to much he was useing 357 magnum 158gr bullets.and when he loaded 125gr 357 mag bullets it was a lot easyer on the hand.
well happy shooting

I use wood boots on mine, but I have since cut out using mags becuase of them. The factory rubber boots are about as good a grip as one could ask for where felt recoil is concerned. You may indeed look at dropping grain weight or finding some .38+P+ (ie light magnums).

Note: .38+P+ is really a magnum in politically correct clothing.
