so I picked up the Sig Sauer (gsg) 1911-22 last week just for ****s and giggles. Right away i replaced the main spring housing/ main spring with a kimber flat mainspring housing to help clean up the god awful trigger pull. Unfortunately the housing did not fit correctly and became lodged in the frame despite the ATI claiming the parts are interchangeable. Shipped her of to sig to be returned to factory spec.
Well she arrives home tomorrow so its time to try again.
Has anyone changed out parts successfully on the gsg/ sig 1911-22 and make the trigger pull have way decent? Any recommendations on parts that will fit?
