I decided to participate in this thread even though I'm no photographer/artist. Anyway, here's my attempt at gun art. The subject is my well used S&W Model 60 which happens to be my most often carried handgun, so it was handy. The camera I use is a Nikon CoolPix 2000 that I picked up at a pawn shop a couple years ago for $20. It's nothing fancy, but it suits my needs just fine, and it takes decent pictures.

So here are the pictures, let me know what you all think of them.

This last picture is my favorite. I'm not sure why, I just like it.

Here are some more.
The first 2 I just shot low light/no flash.
The last one I used a flash but it glared to much so I put my finger over the flash and it turned out redish. I thought it was cool looking.

Kalashnikov

Kalashnikov,

I'm curious about one thing: isn't 'overcome' one word instead of two? Now, I'm not an English major and the angle of the shot could make things look wrong, but it appears to me that it is spelled wrong. Just curious so please don't hate me! :)

P97,

Who did the engraving job on that Ruger? It's pretty!

Frandy - your photo of the Ruger with the blue jean backdrop looks almost like an illustration (painting) created for some magazine.

Jaydee1156 - your photo of the soldier with the 03A4 is an excellent look at the business end of that gun.

neat thread. I enjoy taking pics of my firearms. Which my wife things is weird lol. Anyway, I know nothing about photograpy really but these are some of my best pics. They do pale in comparison to what some of you guys that really know what you are doing.

Ford, I have no idea what I am doing, just foolin' around with a cheap digital camera and free editing program from Wal mart. Nothing wrong with your stuff. :)
My wife stopped asking what I'm doing when the tripod comes out.
