Gun Collection

I know a fellow customer here in Michigan, who had a $50,000.00 per month budget for guns. He owns a bank. After buying more than he could store in his home, he began giving them away as gifts to lawful owners. The BATFE stopped to see him, and the store where he used to shop. They told both of them "No more guns!!!"

I don't follow. Last I checked, there was no law against giving away firearms to non-prohibited persons.

..maybe they were just mad because they got in line too late :D

Why would you want to buy a bunch of the guns other people want? A big part of what I enjoy about this hobby is learning about different guns and deciding what kind of collection I want to build.

There's nothing illegal about giving away a firearm. I was pretty shocked that they told him no more. It's odd. Ray said he would come in and buy 10 to 20 of any firearm, such as ARs, or other firearm just to have them. He also would come in and ask what Ray had that would be better than his friendly competition was buying. They used to see who would out-do the other. Sounds like a good case for litigation up to the Supreme Court. Goodness knows he has the money. Get this: his "wedding gift" for his daughter (a former public school elementary teacher) was to build her an entire K-12 charter school...cash! Like I said, he owns the private bank.
