What does my gun collection need next?

How can you even ask this question when you don't own a .22 handgun yet?

Everybody should have a .22 pistol for cheap fun, but it was hard for me not pick the 1911.

BTW: A full size 1911 in a .40 may be a little hard to find.

All good choices, Try to keep matched calibers on weapons. Saves money on ammo. I'd definitely go with the 1911 in .40 instead of .45 just for that reason.

A .22 pistol is a definite, but having the best semi auto 308 ever made, I'm not sure if I'd get a bolt .308, not really necessary in my book That could go into getting something with even more "distance".

I tend to notice some people drift to one thing or another like you have some
really nice shotguns, so I will surmise that you like the shotgun sports. You will always own more of these than any other but the basics are the basics. You need a good gun for CCW like the EMP in 9mm or 40.

.44 Rem Mag
.38 spec / .357 mag

I do own a few that do not fit my collection but.... they don't count.
