I have a concealed carry permit and I have to drive through some pretty bad parts of town to get to work. The parking lot at work is secured and I want to have my gun in my car. My employer has an "immediate termination" policy for weapons on the premises. This includes in personal vehicles. I would like to know how I could conceal my gun in my car and prevent detection by any dogs that they may bring through to sniff out guns and such. Remember the incident in Oklahoma? Can I seal the pistol up in a ziplock bag or something to prevent my gun from being found? This has not happened YET at my place of employment, but one can never be too careful. Thanks in advance for any help.

I'm sorry, but if your state allows your employer to set such conditions, and they do so, then you're SOL. THR can't condone breaking the law or disobeying lawful instructions from employers. Your only hope is to discuss this with your employers to see whether you can get a waiver from the policy, or they can provide secure storage (perhaps with their security people?) for your firearm while you're on their premises.
