Its plainly obvious that the statistics they threw out were fabricated.
Assuming that 100% of male gun owners both drink and look at porn, the statistic would still require less than 5% of the rest of the public to drink, and less than 2% of the rest of the public to look at porn.

Beer has been around for as long as civilization has, and we have seen what happens when you try to refuse peoples rights to inebriate themselves.

Owning a gun has no real correlation to either of the former.

I notice this board has a few anti-porn comments, while almost no anti-beer comments. It should be noted that the effects of beer does more harm to people every year then the effects of Porn... It has been awhile since I heard a story about the family that was killed by a masturbating deviant, yet almost every night I hear about the family who got destroyed by a drunk driver or abusive drunk husband who finally went too far. The few that go too far in porn are much fewer and much less dangerous then the few that go too far w/ alcohol...

I am not anti-alcohol though, as with everything, moderation is the key...

Ethanol is actually healthy when it is taken in very sparse amounts. For example, a glass of red wine at dinner is very good for you. Especially red wine, because it is richer in minerals and other vital molecules.

However, when alcohol is abused, it is about as healthy as eating screws, nails, nuts and bolts.

Masturbating = Not normal. There are much more useful and productive things to be done with your time than that peculiar vise that is both distasteful, crude, and beast-like.

I can completely agree with other posts the comments are a complete mislead in order to portray male gun owners in a bad manner I did get a quick responce from my email to the radio station stating that the views of the persons interviewed are not necessairly the views of the radio station. Also there had been many complaints today as a result of that comment. I was also told that the station manager is aware of the comments and will be addressing them in the near future.........for what ever that is worth to any one. I see it as damage already done.

funny, but not true. Looking at a picture of a pork chop does not satisfy hunger, but looking at porn CAN help satisfy.....(you figure out what)

The actual culprit that makes home distilling so hazardous is methanol, or wood alcohol. During any fermentation process, methanol is always produced, and if it is not distilled properly, the amount of methanol in any given homebrew would be a fatal dose.

A couple of years ago in Guangxi, China, over 16 people died and 30 were sickened due to tainted homebrew at a village festival.
