Gun Range Weirdness

One of the old timers at our range has a prosthetic leg that seems to freak people out from time to time. Never seems to bother his shooting in the least. I had some nerve damage in my left arm that freaked some people out because it would do the hokey-pokey on the bench. More of a distraction than a hindrance.

HANDLOADER, I'd probably be the one to embarass (sp) myself and ask if you were alright and if you were I'd ask for help in getting my groups tighter.
FLOPPYD, if you ever get to s.c. look me up. The way I group at 25y you'd be the master!!!

They probably don't understand your condition.
Had a computer teacher in school that was brand new in his 40s, he started off the first day introducing himself and telling everyone about his condition. He had a uncontrolable eye twitches. The other students made fun of him when they didn't understand his condition. This guy is i'm guessing 6' 280-310lbs he still to this day holds his schools wrestling record, he is a weightlifeter and can lift massive amounts, he is filthy stinking rich, a computer genius, and has a huge house. People with disabilities can do lots of things keep practicing and get very accurate people will notice and will feel better and even start to get envious of you.:D

This thread went off the high road after only a few posts. It could have been a valuable tool for learning, but for some it was only a vehicle for imparting insults on a shooter who struggles to continue shooting with an affliction.

Quite a few posts have disappeared, but they remain here visible to moderators for review.

And another thing, apologies for violations of our simple forum rules will fall on deaf ears after members have veiled ad hominem attacks in the cloak of an apology.
