    I really have to wonder why people who go to post threads on a topic that obviously is NOT new that they do so without first doing a search. As demo'd by PMDW, searches can be run quite easily.

    Actually vBulletin's search engine is a bit limiting. I have often run up against its limitations where I can't find something I know is here. Part of it is the 3 character thing, part of it is the lack of advanced search capabilities.

    That said, I think u are being harsh - if it was "gun cleaning" or "best 22 pistol" maybe; but in this case, what would the search term be to get us right to the threads in question?

    On another note, I have never seen it - is this for real?

    Many of us visit here every day -- well, actually, several times a day. Others only visit once a week or once a month. Even looking back through a few days worth of traffic in Gen Gun or L&P can be quite a volume of stuff.

    On the other hand, if I only came here occasionally, it would probably be to lurk or to ask a specific question.
