Gun Sales double in these two leftwing states

When you have a far left billionaire governor with his own protection thugs who hasn't seen an anti-gun, anti-cop law he won't sign it's only natural people want to get armed before the next two crappy laws are passed. He's already signed a law that effectively eliminated half the FFLs, the red flag law, and promises more to come.

Same here in Indiana. We are seeing huge numbers of Black buying guns. The over 40 crowd is seeing no policing so that they are arming up. And the younger folks want a Glock or Draco as a fashion statement (and because that is what they see in videos). That is all I hear from dealers.

I do welcome more folks into our hobby.
 
I’m in NJ and can tell you most of the increase went to current owners adding to their collection. And any 1st time buyers will do nothing to fight Trenton over our oppressive gun control laws.

I don't get your point. Illinois sales figures were for guns sold in Illinois. WI and IN had nothing to do with it. Our state has been crapped on by the new gun dealer certification law Prickster signed last year which doubles the trouble for dealers, adds $1500 to their licensing costs and shut down half the stores in IL. Ad in the red flag law, the existing FOID and impending additions to it and folks are buying anything they can get their hands on. We also have a face to face individual background check law in the mix. Black powder, airguns bigger than .17 cal and/or over .17cal are also classed as firearms. Chicago adds another multitude of laws and regs.
 
It’s all pretty strange that the more the left side of the ruling class’s mouths threaten our freedom, the more guns and ammo we buy. (And the right side never seems to be powerful enough to protect our freedoms.) The ruling left has got to see the sales numbers. They must want this! How else could we explain this? Either they want liberal states armed to the teeth, or.......... there is one other explication for people who continue to do the same thing while expecting different results. :)

That’s right I just called our ruling class insane. I think it’s accurate. :thumbup:
