I am looking for a new gun store to do business. If you have any suggestions for the area north of Seattle or the Eastside and all the way north to about LaConner I'd really appreciate it. South is OK too. Just want to find some good guys.
Thanks.

heading north on Highway 99, in order

Butch's in North Seattle

Adventure Sports in Edmonds

Gun Town in Edmonds

Cascade Pawn in Lynnwood

Diversified Jewelry & Loan in Lynnwood.

then you have

Loaner in downtown Everett

if you want to meet up someday I'll give you the tour.

Thanks All.
I'm making notes and will visit every one. I've lived here for more than 20 years and have stuck with just one establishment for that time. The owner is a good guy, but now I deal with the help and its time to move on.
As a business owner I remind myself again of the importance of monitoring the attitudes and culture created by the employees. Some things are unspoken and just felt. Its too bad.
I'll check back. Thank you.

Don't forget Sam's Gun Shop in Everett. They have a 25 yd range for rifles and pistols, and no BS about using steel-cased ammo.

DJ's Loan and Sport of Bothell tends to have some interesting items come through, and a pretty solid inventory for a pawnshop.

Further south, there's Wade's in Bellevue, seems they're a bit higher priced, much more focus on new guns. There is (was) WSI in Bellevue, but did they close down? Pity, those massively high ceilings (revamped warehouse) were more pleasant than the claustropobically low ceilings at Wade's office-park location.

Kesselring's is only about seven miles north of Burlington. Go north from Burlington on I-5. Exit at Bow Hill Rd. Go east about a quarter-mile. Go north about one mile on Old 99. Kesselrings will be on your left. Like charliefox says, if they don't got it you don't need it.

Gun Town in Edmunds is a great shop.

I am on the East Side of WA so I don't know of a lot of shops over there.

But Gun Town is at all the gun shows, so I have done some business with them.

Okay, time to vote:

1. Best gun prices, bar none in metro-Seattle/W. Washington?
2. Best service, the same?
3. Best selection, the same?
4. Best overall shop, the same?

THanks again for the suggestions. I'll be working up near Burlington Tuesday so I'll check Kesselrings first. A couple of these I have been to. I look forward to the lookin'.

I've made purchases at Butch's in Greenlake, Gun Town in Lynnwood and Adventure Sports in Edmonds.

I like Adventure Sports the best of those three. fair prices, great selection and courteous help.

Gun Town has pretty dang good sales from time to time too.

The cool thing about Sam's is you can buy it & shoot it right away.

Josh

I'v never been to his store but have ordered online and over the phone from Russ Haydons in Gig Harbor. http://www.shooters-supply.com/ I'm not sure what all he carries as far as firearms, but he does have a good line of precision reloading/shooting equipt. And is a heck of a nice guy too! If its your dime(long distance) just don't mention varmint/coyote shooting. ;)
