Anyone going this Sunday ?? I'll be there. (I try to hit all the shows.) I need a pound of IMR3031 to reload my .32 Win Spec and there's a guy there who normally has it for $4-5 less then what Gander Mountain wants for it. He was out of it at the Wheaton show last weekend. Which, BTW, was much larger and had way more people then I've ever seen. The only words I can use to describe it is "crowded".

Jim Gardener from Gardener's Cache is always at Kane County and he has .32 Win Spec bullets (among other calibers) for $8.00/100. Plus I'll be on the lookout for any other deals to be had. He had some MEC reloaders last time......maybe......

I'll be the guy (still) walking around with a 6 yo and a sign around my neck selling a Pacific DL-350 reloader in 12ga. Surely someone wants to start/upgrade their shotgun reloading equipment. :D

I'm surprised they still have that show. I worked next door for years at the Kinko's. I'm surprised it's still going on given the politics of St. Charles.
It always was a big show.

Hope it's fun. I'm far west (oddly, still just off rt. 64). The shows in Iowa are small but very friendly.

N-L,

Great handle. I always said that when I started my own business, it would be "Luddite Industries" or "Luddite Technology". Where "west" are you ???

It still is a big show, in fact it's the biggest one around here. Although the Wheaton show last weekend at least seemed to be almost the same size as Kane. With the Bears playing early this Sunday, I imagine it'll be cleared out by noon, 12:30 at the latest......

You would probably recognize most of the stuff for sale as it's the same stuff that's been there for years and years........

We're in Mount Carroll. There are trade-offs; Carroll County has exactlly 1 stoplight and the nearest Starbucks is 60 miles away.

I bought my M-1 Garand and mini-14 at that show (Kane) in like 1990 and 1991 while a student at NIU. The Iowa shows are cool in that there is no waiting period on purchase of long arms and, this is crazy and would probably not fly in Illinois, they usually have a full service bar set up. I get to go if my father-in-law is going--we mostly window shop.
