Just had to share my good fortune in spotting this hard to find .22lr Walther PP clone. The Daewoo DP52 was imported by Kimber for only a few years in the '90's. I also own a Walther PP in .22lr so I am able to do a direct comparison. IMHO the Daewoo compares very favorably. The fit and finish on the all steel pistol is excellent although the finish is a utilitarian Glock like dull gray instead of Walther's sleek bluing. The Daewoo's sights and trigger are better. My only complaint is that the left grip panel has a thumb rest. I'd prefer a flat silhouette. The mag hold 10 rounds.
I almost missed this gem, tucked into a corner of a glass topped display. The price was much lower than I would have expected. The condition was perfect. I think this one will turn into a safe queen as I already have one that I shoot fairly often. If you enjoy .22lr pistol, keep your eyes open for one of these fine pistols to fondle and inspect. A great .22 to be sure.
